Navigator platform for Tesla car
Platform has a practical solution to enable build-in navigation for Tesla cars’ users

Design challenge and responsibilities overview
Product overwiew
An in-car navigation experience for Tesla localized for Ukrainian maps and language. It helps drivers plan efficient routes, find and filter charging stations, and navigate safely on Ukrainian roads.
Task
Design a Ukraine-ready navigation system that feels native to Tesla: clear turn-by-turn, EV-aware routing, and fast station discovery — all within automotive UI constraints.
Objective challenges
Localization: full Ukrainian language, units, keyboards, and map data nuances (addresses, POIs, Cyrillic search).
EV routing: include state-of-charge, elevation, temperature, and charging time in ETA; charger types and availability.
Station finder: filters (kW, connector type, network, price), live status, and smart stops along the route.
Automotive UX: glanceable, distraction-minimized UI; large hit targets; day/night modes.
Resilience: offline tiles/caching and reroute reliability when signal drops.
My role
Product Designer (end-to-end). Owned IA, flows, and UI for search, routing, charging, and guidance; collaborated with maps, vehicle, and HMI teams to match Tesla design patterns.
Result
Shipped a localized UA navigation with native voice + Cyrillic input.
Delivered EV-aware routing with automatic charger stops and realistic arrival SoC.
Built a station directory with quick filters and live status for fast decisions.
Created a glanceable guidance UI aligned with Tesla HMI conventions (safety first, minimal cognitive load).
